The practice

Why this practice exists

Most psychiatric care is split up. A prescriber writes the prescription, a therapist does the talking, and if medication doesn't work the next step is a referral somewhere else entirely. Nobody holds the whole picture, and the patient carries their own history between providers.

Confluence was built the other way round. Diagnosis, medication, therapy and the interventional treatments all sit under one roof, delivered by the doctor who evaluated you. When something doesn't work, the next option is a conversation - not a referral and another waiting list.

How we work

Four things that don't change

Before anything

Evaluation first

Every patient starts with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation before any treatment begins - confirming what's going on and producing a plan built for you.

Start to finish

A doctor, throughout

The psychiatrist who evaluates you is the one who treats you, adjusts your plan, and sees you at your next appointment.

Under one roof

The full range, in one place

Medication, psychotherapy, TMS, ketamine and Spravato, and addiction treatment. What we recommend depends on your diagnosis, not on what we happen to offer.

No surprises

Straight answers

You'll know the cost before you commit, and if a treatment isn't right for you we'll say so on the call rather than book you in.
